El Puro Cuban Restaurant AKA La casa del Mojito Cubano has the best Guava Mojitos in Charlotte! I loved the ambiance and 1950s Cuban decor!
I started with their perfectly fried croquetas, which are stuffed with smoked ham, cilantro & aioli! The cilantro dipping sauce was fire!
They have a wide variety of Cuban dishes on the menu but when I saw they had Cuban Fried Rice with Sweet Plantains in it, I knew it was a must-try! It did not disappoint!
My sister had their Shrimp Cuban Fried Rice and they accommodated her Keto request and threw in more veggies (carrots, cauliflower, zucchini & green onion) instead of rice!
Service was up to par and they have a ton of other dishes I’m dying to try so I know I’ll be back soon! I need some of that 4 Leches in my life!
