Miami-based paleteria opened its doors in Charlotte last summer, they’re known for their hand-crafted, gourmet ice cream pops with over 16 flavors and countless topping combinations!
My fav combo: Banana paleta with Nutella filling, dipped in hazelnut chocolate and topped with Fruity Pebbles.
Chocolate Mousse Cake from Kid Cashew

Any chocolate and strawberry combination is usually a winner in my book, and this chocolate mousse cake did not disappoint! Decadent, and moist with the best chocolate frosting!

Yes, it is what you think it is! Checked this place out for my sister’s birthday and they surprised our table with this unique dessert!

Flan from A Piece of Havana
Location: 11126 S Tryon St. Charlotte, NC
Flan is my ultimate fave, so I always try it if I see it on the menu. I was blown away by the flan served at POH! You know you have found good flan when the top caramel coat feels like you’re shattering through glass when you cut into it. There was definitely a taste of Havana in every bite of that thing. The portion is pretty huge too so great for sharing!
