If fresh seafood and decadent desserts are your thing, you’ll want to check out McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks, conveniently located at Southpark Mall in Charlotte, NC. I was invited to this seafood restaurant on a double date for Valentine’s Day this year.

We had reservations and were seated right away, which was awesome! Last year on Valentine’s day, I had reservations and still had to wait for at least 30-minutes to be seated.

The service was great, however, the server never brought us our bread so I hope I didn’t miss out. 

We started with Shrimp Kisses as an appetizer, which is bacon-wrapped shrimp/pigs in a blanket. Hands down, the best I’ve had! The shrimp were huge! The bacon was perfectly crisp and the pepper jack cheese gave it that perfect kick! Served with onion rings and fire-roasted corn salsa!

For my main course, I devoured the Shrimp & Crab Stuffed Salmon with fresh vegetables, mashed potatoes, topped with buttery lobster sauce! This dish was a massive taste explosion, from the first bite to the last, delightedly flavorful!

The star of the night was the Upside Down Candied Walnut Apple Pie w/ Vanilla Ice Cream! An even fancier version of Apple Pie a La Mode! Who knew?!?! Call me weird, but my favorite part of eating pie is the crust! This apple pie crust was baked to perfection and the combination of the walnuts with the pie and Vanilla ice cream is simply out of this world! I’ll definitely be back here soon to try the rest of their desserts as they had an extensive menu of sweets!
