I’m a picky drinker so I usually stick to margaritas but I was intrigued by the handmade clay jugs at Los Cantaritos the other night. I’ve seen them plenty of times but never actually tried one!
I asked the bartender what’s in the traditional Mexican cocktail known as a “Cantarito” – turns out to be a refreshing mix of silver tequila (Hornitos), grapefruit soda (Squirt), orange and lime juice served on the rocks with a chilli lime rim. I love anything orange/citrus flavored so it was a yes from me! 🍊
El Cantarito was A1 🔥 from the refreshing taste to the alcohol ratio, not sweet or bitter and definitely something to sip on!
El Cantarito is a Mexican restaurant and cantina with a hefty tequila lineup. They have a bunch of cool drinks I’d love to come back and try including their Margarita towers. Pay them a visit when you are in Rock Hill and make sure you give the Cantarito drink a try!
