Anytime I’m feeling fancy and don’t wanna go far – I always end up at The Pump House in Rock Hill! Offering 3 floors of riverfront dinning and a rooftop bar with views of the beautiful Catawba River 🤩

Their Southern-inspired menu is seasonal and they have daily specials that aren’t on the menu. I ended up getting their Friday night special – Grilled Mahi Mahi with pineapple salsa, blackened shrimp, charred okra and sweet peppers over a bed of purple grits!
Confession time: All of my time in The South and I’ve never given grits a chance! But that changed Friday, even if they were purple! Each bite had me asking.. what is that again?!? 🔥 Because it was SO GOOD! #grits 💜
Their charred okra also deserves an honorable mention, I just couldn’t get enough! The entire dish was 💯🔥

On to dessert was their Chocolate Truffle Torte and their delicious Strawberry Cheesecake 🍰
Truth be told, I love anything strawberry and everything chocolate and so it was a no-brainer to finish off the night with the best of both worlds 🍓🍫
However, the night wasn’t over without a stroll along the Riverwalk to burn off those calories 😉
