Ever had a burrito with french fries in it? It’s called the California burrito and it usually features steak and french fries as the main ingredients. Mal+Pan of Charlotte has put a spin on this favorite and added a third main ingredient: SHRIMP!
The Surf N’ Turf Cali burrito is stuffed with steak, sauteed shrimp in chimichurri, fries, pico de gallo, queso fresco, guacamole, chipotle crema and raw tomatillo salsa. Their tortillas are handmade and it was evident that they use only the freshest ingredients!
This burrito almost had me feeling like I was back on the West Coast! A must-try!
As for their margaritas, they are killer! Proceed with caution – my girls and I each ordered the OG margarita and neither of us could finish it, lightweight much? LOL
